favorite brownie batter recipe – prepare after the cherries have cooled
1 T Underwood Ranches Roja Hot Sauce
1.5 T cinnamon
½ c dark chocolate chunks (or chips)
Stir UR Roja, cinnamon and chocolate chunks into your prepared brownie batter. Pour into a greased square pan. Drain cherries, reserving the liquid to be used as a glaze. Place cherries onto top of the brownie batter and place pan in oven. Bake per your own recipe – (mine was 30-35 minutes at 325 degrees).
Remove the brownies from the oven and brush the cherry glaze on top. (You can add about 1/8 t of UR Roja to the glaze if you want a little more heat.) Let cool completely before serving.
